The Switch!

So, this is going to be an easygoing blog entry for today!  Just thought I'd give you the heads-up!

I wanted to tell you all about this cool beverage I tried the other day.  I am not a soda pop consumer, really.  Especially the traditional soda pops.  Too much corn syrup and a whole lot of gunk for my taste.  So I've taken to occasionally trying out new all-natural sodas or carbonated beverages from my local natural foods stores.  And a few days ago, I tried The Switch for the first time.  Yes, that is the name of the beverage company! Let me tell you, that was an AMAZING carbonated beverage!  And the cool thing about it, is that it's 100% juice that is carbonated, with NO added sugars, no preservatives, no colors! Super yummy, too!  Crisp, refreshing, pleasantly sweet. I tried the Apricot Peach flavor.  Oh my goodness, it was literally like I'd squeezed ripe apricots and peaches into a glass and added ice and sparkling water!  Can hardly wait till I get to try the other flavors!  I'm thinking of Black Cherry next, oh yeah!

Along the same lines, there is an "old" friend of mine called IZZE.  Before I start telling you about it, I must confess I only recall trying one flavor of IZZE so far, but it has been a favorite drink of mine for a long while!  I love the Pomegranate Sparkling Juice!  Oh yes, people, Pomegranates are an astounding fruit! Did you know they are actually packed full of antioxidants and health benefits? And they are a rich, beautiful red shade to boot! I love them in any shape or form, from the straight-up fruit to Greek Yogurt with pieces of the fruit at the bottom, to fruit juice and sparkling fruit juice!  I have never tried anything with Pomegranates that I didn't like, yet!  But IZZE is super delicious and it's 70% juice with sparkling water, NO corn syrup, refined sugars, preservatives, colors or artificial flavors added.  Can we say "oh yum!" in chorus?  :-)
